WINK News Weather Authority is tracking another stretch of record heat across Southwest Florida this Tuesday, with rain chances increasing later in the week.

The Weather Authority's Zach Maloch said, "Today and tomorrow, record highs are set to continue, so get ready to sweat later on this afternoon."

Tuesday

Tuesday will bring another hot afternoon, as temperatures climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Some areas could tie daily record highs as the heat builds across the region.

Expect a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day, with lower rain chances during the afternoon compared to recent days.

It will feel even warmer at times, with heat indices pushing toward the lower 90s.

Wednesday

Wednesday starts off mild and humid, with morning lows settling into the 60s and 70s.

The Weather Authority expects another warm and mainly dry afternoon, with highs once again reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Skies will feature a blend of sun and clouds as Southwest Florida remains locked in this early taste of summer.

Thursday

Thursday begins much the same, with a mild and muggy start and temperatures in the 60s and 70s early in the day.

Through the afternoon, expect a mix of sun and clouds with isolated storms possible.

Even with a few showers around, the hot streak continues with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Rain chances will increase overnight as a wetter pattern begins moving toward Southwest Florida.
