Estero residents invited to discuss US-41 development plans

ESTERO, Fla. —

Estero residents have the opportunity to share their opinions on future developments along U.S. 41 at an open house Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Village Hall.

The village is starting to plan the future of the corridor between Estero Parkway and Hertz headquarters at Williams Road.

Officials say they want to make sure future development protects natural spaces, honors Estero's history, and keeps the area high-quality.

Residents were first asked to share their opinions through a survey in January, and now the village is taking that conversation a step further.

If you live in Estero, you are welcome to come and share your thoughts on what you do or don't want to see along that busy stretch of U.S. 41.
