Lee County Sheriff's Office arrests 70, seizes narcotics in 'Operation Thaw and Order'

LEE COUNTY, Fla.--The Lee County Sheriff's Office recently announced the results of "Operation Thaw and Order."

Sheriff Carmine Marceno confirmed that there were 70 arrests and multiple narcotics seized as part of the operation during a news conference Wednesday morning.

Items seized:

• 70 arrests
• 22.4 Kilos of Meth
• 15.8 Kilos of Ecstasy
• 4 Kilos of Cocaine
• 30 firearms
• $396,000 seized
• 1 Tesla Seized 3 Stolen Vehicles Recovered

"If you sell drugs in this county, we will find you, we will build a case against you, and we will put you behind bars," Marceno said.

Marceno also said that one of the suspects "bit" a detective on the arm during the arrest.
