Cape police looking for man in relation to disturbance at Yucca Pens Preserve

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Police Department is looking for more information after officers responded to shots being fired early Sunday morning at the Yucca Preserve on Sunday.

While investigating the incident near Burnt Store Road, a crash with injuries was also reported in the same area.

The crash left two people injured and police working to learn more about just what happened around 2 a.m.

CCPD has introduced what they call a “Public Portal Request” through Axon, the same company that hosts their Body Worn Cameras.

They said anyone who clicks on the link can provide them with information about what happened.

CCPD says you can either provide your contact info or submit videos or photos anonymously.
