14-acre brush fire reported in Naples, 40% contained

NAPLES, Fla. (WINK)— Several first responder units are on scene of a brush fire near Collier Boulevard in Naples.

The brush fire was reported at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, where the Greater Naples Fire Rescue reports the blaze has reached 14-acres.

Currently, the fire rescue reports 40% containment. 

Fire rescue reported that this scene derives from another fire nearby, saying that it initially started from embers. 

That fire spanned 2.5 acres and is 60% contained.
