Man accused of fight at Collier County Fair yelled 'white power' while being detained, deputies say

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A Naples man was arrested after being accused of fighting at the Collier County Fair.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office arrest report, deputies responded to a scene on the Collier County Fairgrounds where a fight broke out between two individuals near the Wild Mouse roller coaster.

Deputies observed two men fighting and rolling around on the pavement. One of the men, identified as Lucas Burns, 19, had the other man in a headlock and would not release him, the report said.

Deputies gave multiple commands to stop the fight, but Burns did not adhere, according to the report. Deputies were then able to free the other man from the headlock and placed Burns in handcuffs.

According to the report, Burns continued to yell at bystanders after being restrained, including spitting on one while yelling "white power."

While restraining burns, the other man involved in the fight ran away and was unable to be located.

Burns was arrested and faces charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence.
