Authorities battling 280-acre fire in Hendry County, 45% contained

Authorities are battling a 280-acre fire in South Hendry County. 

The fire is in the area of West Boundary II, a mile northwest of West Boundary Road and Route 1822 in Clewiston. It was reported Tuesday evening and is still active Wednesday morning.
