Four acclaimed female singer/songwriters take the stage at Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

The Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers is set to host "For the Love of Music Vol III, An Intimate Evening of Song & Story," which will showcase four acclaimed female singer-songwriters at the top of their craft.

The show, which takes place on Thursday, March 26, from 7 - 9 p.m., will feature performances from April Cushman, Claire Liparulo, Shelly Fairchild and Kelly Neff.

Neff and Liparulo visited the Gulf Coast News studio on Wednesday. Neff showcased her talents with a live performance.

Liparulo’s songs explore love found and lost, the absurdity of modern dating, and the journey toward self-acceptance—always with heart and honesty, the Alliance for the Arts said.

Kelly Neff's, an award-winning songwriter, repertoire features a rootsy mix of blues, folk, funk, and rock. A two-time Songwriter of the Year winner from the Songwriters Showcase of America, Neff has opened for Melissa Etheridge, Keb’ Mo’ and The Wallflowers.
