Investigators ask for public's help in 2025 Collier County deadly hit-and-run crash case

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

The Collier County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public to help solve a deadly hit-and-run crash in 2025.

The sheriff's office said the crash happened on Feb. 23, 2025, around 10:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Radio Road in front of the Circle K near San Marcos Boulevard.

Kade Schembri, 18, was hit by a vehicle and left in the road, CCSO said. He died from his injuries later.

According to investigators, the biggest challenge is determining what type of vehicle was involved, who was driving and if anyone saw anything.
