ECS boys basketball coach arrested, accused of soliciting romantic relationship with student

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

RJ Jones, the Evangelical Christian School boys basketball coach currently on administrative leave, has been arrested.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office website, Jones, 32, was booked into the Lee County Jail at 8:42 p.m. on Wednesday.

Jones faces a charge of a sex offense―authority figure soliciting and engaging in a romantic relationship with a student.

Earlier this month, Jones was placed on administrative leave by the school after allegations of misconduct with a student.
