Crews are continuing work to restore Lynn Hall Memorial Park on Fort Myers Beach after it was damaged by Hurricane Ian.
The Lee County Government announced that the park and its parking lot will be temporarily closed starting April 6.
Pedestrian access and restroom amenities will remain open on the west end of the park.
Lee County said visitors can use alternative parking at Bowditch Point Park, 50 Estero Boulevard, and parking fees are $2 per hour.
Officials said some upgrades will include ADA-accessible boardwalks, picnic shelters, landscaping, lighting, signage, and an elevated restroom facility to enhance accessibility and visitor experience.
The project is expected to be completed in early summer 2027. The construction schedule is weather permitting and subject to change.
