Fort Myers music fans dance through rain at Bay Street Yard's Country Fest

FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — Bay Street Yard's Country Fest is two-stepping right through the weather, rain or shine.

Even with raindrops clinging to tables and chairs still a little damp, drinks are flowing and the stage is set on Sunday. Country fans are not backing down because a little rain just means more room on the dance floor.

The music rolls on until 10 p.m. with headliner Meghan Patrick taking the stage. The festival is happening in downtown Fort Myers, where fans arrived early to get in the groove before the music really got going.

Despite the doom-and-gloom on the radar, the honky-tonk and high spirits continue at the outdoor venue.
