Deputies conduct active investigation in Port Charlotte neighborhood

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WINK) — An increased presence of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has been reported in a neighborhood in Port Charlotte.

Several deputy vehicles have been observed at a home on Conreid Drive at around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

It remains unclear why there is an increased law enforcement presence or how many people are involved.
