Meet Yeti, a pyredoodle ready for his forever home

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

On Tuesday, the Gulf Coast Humane Society brought Yeti into the studio. The 2-year-old pyredoodle is ready to find a forever home.

He weighs 50 pounds. The Humane Society says he is a Great Pyrenees and standard Poodle mix. He was surrendered by his owner with matted fur and needed to be shaved.

In the studio, Yeti was joined by Darcy Andrade from the Humane Society. She says Yeti is a "gentle giant" who loves hugs. He is extremely loyal and affectionate.

Anyone interested in adopting Yeti or any other animal can visit the Gulf Coast Humane Society at 2010 Arcadia St. in Fort Myers.

Plus, the Gulf Coast Humane Society is hosting a Bell Tower Yappy Hour. If you are in need of some bunny love, on April 10, the Humane Society is holding the monthly celebration on S. Cleveland Ave. It is from 6 to 8 p.m. There, you can mingle with dogs that are up for adoption and help support the Humane Society.
