Brush fire on Estero Pointe Lane in San Carlos Park extinguished by crews

SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. —

Crews have extinguished a brush fire on Estero Pointe Lane on Thursday afternoon.

According to the San Carlos Park Fire & Rescue District, the fire was about an acre in size. Firefighters were dispatched after 4:30 p.m. east of Estero Bay Preserve and off of San Marco Drive.

The fire district said their crews, along with Estero Fire Rescue and the Florida Forest Service, are addressing hot spots.
