LaBelle man wins $1 million from Florida Lottery scratch-off game

LABELLE, Fla. (WINK)—A LaBelle man claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery's BONUS LETTER CROSSWORD Scratch-Off game.

Antonio Garcia Avila, 60, visited the Florida Lottery's Fort Myers District Office on Dec. 29 to claim his prize.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

Garcia Avila purchased his winning ticket from Patson Discount Tobacco and Smoke Shop, located at 216 South Main Street in LaBelle.
