Volunteers in Bonita Springs deliver Easter meals and baskets to families

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. —

On Sunday morning, volunteers in Bonita Springs rolled up their sleeves to help provide home-cooked Easter meals to families across Southwest Florida.

Inside the Bonita Springs Lions Club kitchen, they cooked up 300 full Easter dinners to be delivered to families in Lee and Collier counties.

They also handed out more than 200 Easter baskets filled with treats and essentials, making sure kids can still experience a little Easter magic.

The founder said Easter is a time of renewal, and sometimes something as simple as a warm meal or a small gift can make a big difference.
