Two men were arrested on Saturday after being accused of street racing at high speeds along SR-82 in Lee County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers noticed two cars, a Maserati and a Dodge Challenger, racing on SR-82 at around 10 p.m.
The Maserati was caught going 72 mph in a 55 mph zone before reaching a speed of 102 mph, FHP said.
Both cars were pulled over. The driver of the Maserati was identified as Andis Perez-Hernandez, 45, and the driver of the Challenger was identified as Marcio Cruz-Milan, 52.
The men were both arrested. Perez-Hernandez faces charges of super speeding, DUI and street racing, and Cruz-Milan faces charges of super speeding and street racing.
