SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, (WINK) —WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are forecasting a wetter pattern thanks to a cold front moving in and stalling over the next few days.

The Weather Authority's Zach Maloch said, "Heading into the afternoon, those clouds will be on the increase ahead of some storms that pop up throughout the afternoon. Our best coverage of rain today will be later on this evening and especially overnight tonight."

Monday

Monday morning is off to a milder and more humid start.

While the majority of the day looks to be drier for communities west of I-75, scattered rain and storms (60% coverage) will develop for more communities east of I-75 and continue into the overnight hours.

Highs climb into the mid 80s for your Monday plans.

Tuesday

Tuesday morning may start a little wet for some as a few showers are possible throughout the morning commute.

A cold front will be stalling across Southwest Florida Tuesday, and this will lead to more rain and storms midday and lasting throughout the afternoon (60% coverage).

Plan for a breezy and cooler day with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Wednesday

Wednesday will start mild, with a few small showers possible throughout the morning commute.

While Wednesday will feature less rain and storms than Tuesday, scattered storms (40% coverage) are still possible throughout the afternoon.
