Iguanaland brings Albino Florida Box Turtle

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. —

Iguanaland in Punta Gorda is known as the world's largest reptile zoo. On Monday, they brought a special guest into the studio.

Joe Pace, one of Iguanaland's reptile handlers, brought an Albino Florida Box Turtle into the studio.

According to Florida Fish and Wildlife, all box turtles have a high-domed and rounded shell, as well as a hooked jaw and slightly webbed feet. Males are slightly larger than females, have shorter and slightly more curved claws, and longer tails with a concave underbelly shell.

Pace has two tips if you see any reptile in the road: First, "always help them," second, make sure to keep them going in the same direction. If you turn them around, they will just turn back around on their own.
