Collier County Sheriff's office corporal lends a hand to couple in need after court visit

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A corporal with the Collier County Sheriff's Office helped a couple in need get into their car.

According to the sheriff's office, a passerby saw Cpl. Sebastian Acosta of CCSO’s Bailiff Bureau step in to help a husband and wife who were leaving family court.

The wife was able to walk short distances and drive, but deputies said she was struggling to help her husband, who had been hospitalized recently, into the car.

Acosta helped the husband into the car, helped the woman get into the driver's seat and loaded their chairs into the back of their Prius so they could go home safely.
