Unoccupied 30-foot vessel catches fire on Oleander Street in St. James City

SAINT JAMES CITY, Fla. —

An unoccupied 30-foot vessel caught fire on Oleander Street in St. James City Wednesday.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the vessel was on fire while tied to a dock.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office and the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District also responded.

FWC said this is an active investigation.
