The Weather Authority's Zach Maloch said, "That breeze is going to be picking up as we head throughout the afternoon. Plan for a breezy day ahead with another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms."

Wednesday

It's a mild and cloudy afternoon across Southwest Florida. A breezy northeast wind will impact your afternoon and evening with gusts up to 30 mph.

Highs top out in the upper 70s to lower 80s with scattered rain and storms into the evening. This evening will be mild with lingering rain and passing clouds.

Thursday

Thursday morning will start in the mid to upper 60s under a mostly cloudy sky with only a stray shower possible.

Thursday is looking a bit drier with isolated storms (30% coverage) developing later in the afternoon through the early evening hours.

A breezy northeast wind continues Thursday with gusts upwards of 30 mph. Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s.

Friday

Friday morning will begin mild and dry with a light northeast wind. Plan for another breezy afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph. Rain showers will be taking a break Friday with only a few showers come Friday afternoon and evening. Highs top out in the lower to mid 80s.
