Bonita Springs woman accused of driving 123 mph while drunk

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —

A woman was arrested after Lee County deputies said she was driving 123 mph while nearly three times Florida's legal blood alcohol limit.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over Siria Lopez after clocking her vehicle speeding down US-41 in Bonita Springs on Wednesday night.

LCSO said Lopez also blew a 0.23; Florida's legal limit is 0.08.

Lopez was arrested for driving over 100 mph and DUI. She also received additional citations for careless driving, modified exhaust, and improper turn signal.
