Have your say on two park concepts on the old Cape Coral Golf Course site

CAPE CORAL, Fla. —

The City of Cape Coral wants residents to share their input on two preliminary park concepts for the old golf course site on Palm Tree Boulevard.

According to a release sent by the city, the concepts show different visions for the site's future.

Concept A, known as "Anchor," features a centralized park built around a civic hub, while Concept B, known as "Drift," is meant to be a more dispersed layout with multiple entry points and parking areas that connect smaller, independent activity zones, the city said.

A public meeting was held Wednesday, but anyone can still access the presentation and Master Plan Survey.

Residents can check out the website and view a presentation outlining the initial park concepts, look at how previous feedback helped guide the designs, and review the concepts and share any input on preferred features.
