Investigation into Glades County railroad bridge fire indicates it was started by a person

GLADES COUNTY, Fla. —

Early investigations into the railroad bridge fire in Glades County have revealed that it is believed to have been started by a person.

The Glades County Sheriff's Office said it is unknown at this time if the fire was started intentionally or unintentionally.

The fire is currently under active investigation by the Glades County Sheriff's Office, State Fire Marshals Office, the Florida Division of Forestry and the Department of Agriculture.

The fire broke out on Sunday and resulted in a total loss of the railroad bridge, rendering it structurally unusable.
