A man is wanted by Fort Myers police after failing to show up in court following an arrest for the possession of drugs, leaving the scene of a crash and more.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Marco Lopez, 28, tried to fight the staff at a downtown Fort Myers bar before leaving in a fit of rage.
Officers responded to the altercation after employees at the bar said Lopez went to his car to retrieve his gun after threatening employees.
Crime Stoppers said that Lopez then entered his car, began driving and immediately crashed into a parked car. Officers then approached Lopez, who sped off down Hendry Street before being pulled over on US-41.
Lopez was charged with multiple offenses, including hit-and-run, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and possession of cocaine.
Lopez was put on pre-trial diversion but violated the conditions by skipping court last week, Crime Stoppers said.
The Lehigh Acres fugitive is 5'9" and weighs 255 pounds.
