Trump reacts on Truth Social to brutal Fort Myers killing of a woman with a hammer

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

President Donald Trump reacted on social media Thursday night on the brutal attack and killing of a woman at a gas in Fort Myers.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the video of the attack from the store is one of the most vicious things anyone will ever see.

In the video, a man smashed a car's windshield. The video then shows the victim, who is a clerk at the gas station, walk outside before she is approached by a man and hit in the head with a hammer, killing her

Along with the post, Trump also , when the woman was killed with the hammer.

Rolbert Joachin, 40, admitted in open court that he went to the Chevron gas station on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard specifically to kill a gas station clerk.

The president commented on Joachin being in the country illegally from Haiti and his expired Temporary Protected Status.

Trump also asked for people to pray for the family of the clerk, Nilufa Easmin, and he ensures "quick and severe" justice in the case.
