Fort Myers felon accused of probation violation following drug possession arrest

A Fort Myers man is accused of violating the terms of his probation following an arrest on drug possession, DUI and resisting charges.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Larry Pritchard, 47, was initially arrested as a passenger in a car pulled over for a traffic stop. Crime Stoppers says that drug sniffing dogs alerted on the car and found crack cocaine in his socks.

Pritchard has 26 previous arrests on 71 criminal charges, and has been in prison twice. He violated the terms of his most recent probation after failing to show up to weekly court-ordered check-ins.

Pritchard is 6 feet 1 inch, weighs 215 pounds, and has the phrase "laugh now, cry later" tattooed on his right leg.
