YouTube increases premium subscription prices

YouTube is raising the prices of its premium and music subscription plans, with changes impacting both new and existing subscribers.

The streaming giant’s individual premium plan is increasing from $13.99 per month to $15.99, while the family subscription plan is going up by $4, from $22.99 to $26.99.

This increase is immediate for all new subscribers, and current subscribers will see the higher rates reflected on their June statements.

Subscription rates for YouTube Music are also rising, with individual plans increasing by $1 per month and family plans by $2 per month.
