City of Fort Myers opens application period for $150K grant for local artists

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

The City of Fort Myers will once again distribute $150,000 in grants to support local artists and art organizations, and the application period opens Wednesday.

The city has committed $150,000 to help sustain arts and cultural programs in the community, including local organizations, groups and individual artists, following the same commitment from the previous fiscal year.

An informational webinar will take place on Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m., with the application for the grant launching right after. The webinar will provide an overview of the application process and timeline, followed by a Q&A session.
