Glades County lifts burn ban, encourages caution

GLADES COUNTY, Fla. —

Glades County has lifted the burn ban it has had in place since December 2025.

According to the Glades County Board of County Commissioners, effective Tuesday, the burn ban for the county has been lifted.

Conditions remain dry, however, and the county strongly encourages residents to use caution, follow all safety guidelines and closely monitor all outdoor burning.
