Closures set to be implemented in and around Cambier Park for Naples Pride Fest

NAPLES, Fla. —

Temporary road and facility closures are set to be implemented Saturday in and around Cambier Park in Naples due to Naples Pride Fest.

According to the Naples Police Department, closures will start at 2 a.m. through about 6 p.m.

8th Street South will be closed from Cambier Park Way to 8th Avenue South. Cambier Park Way will be closed from 8th Street South to Park Street. Park Street will be closed from Cambier Park Way to 7th Avenue South.

The police said all sports courts and fields, the playground, the Norris Community Center and public restrooms at Cambier Park will be closed during this time.

The Naples Art Institute may remain open, but the police are asking people to contact them directly about their hours of operation.

Last year's Naples Pride Fest event was held on June 7 after months of legal battles. This year's event was approved in January with restrictions from Naples City Council.
