A 13-year-old student was arrested after they were accused of making a violent threat over social media towards their charter school in Collier County.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the student goes to Innovation Preparatory Academy of Naples. During the investigation, detectives said there was no threat to the school.
The student is facing charges of written threats to kill or do bodily injury or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, deputies said.
