Car crashes into building off US-41 in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

A car crashed into a building off of US-41 in Fort Myers on Friday morning.

Video taken at the scene by a Gulf Coast News team shows a car crashed through the front entrance of a business at 4455 Cleveland Avenue, where an Optical Outlet is located.

The Gulf Coast News team reported that a tow truck is on scene working to remove the vehicle.

The Fort Myers Police Department said that one person sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
