Lee County deputy named Officer of the Year at 2026 Law and Order Ball

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —

A Lee County deputy was named Officer of the Year at the 2026 Law and Order Ball.

Deputy Chris Lacy was awarded, with leaders at the Lee County Sheriff's Office saying his impact reaches beyond the badge.

They say Lacy's impact is seen in the trust he builds, the lives he touches and the difference he makes when nobody is watching.

The Law and Order Ball, sponsored by the Rotary Club of South Fort Myers, recognizes members of law enforcement throughout Lee County and aims to honor those who keep communities safe and enable businesses to thrive.
