Deputies look to ID man in connection to stolen motorcycle seen on Kings Hwy in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in search of someone riding a stolen motorcycle on Kings Highway.

According to a post from CCSO on Facebook, sometime between the morning of April 11 and April 12, a 1998 black Suzuki VL 1500cc motorcycle was stolen from Explorer Road in Punta Gorda. The bike has a black leather saddlebag, an LED headlight and no front fender.

CCSO says a man was seen riding the stolen bike along Kings Highway on April 14. The man was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with graphics on the front and back and a black helmet.

CCSO is asking anyone with any tips on where the bike may be or who was riding it to call their non-emergency number at 941-639-2101 or send a tip through their Facebook page.
