After earning her degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, she built experience across television, digital media, and national sports networks before transitioning fully into journalism.

Her reporting career has included coverage of breaking news, neighborhood concerns, and major community issues across both California and Southwest Florida. She believes journalism is about more than headlines—it’s about connection, accountability, and making a meaningful difference.
