Naples Mayor Teresa Heitmann arrested for probation violation

NAPLES, Fla. (WINK)—Naples Mayor Teresa Heitmann has been arrested after police say she violated her probation. Court records show she was in possession of a controlled substance.

She was arrested on Monday, April 20, around 7 p.m. for unlawful possession or use of cannabinoids. 

Heitmann was originally arrested in 2024 after Collier County deputies say she was driving more than twice the legal limit. In February, she accepted a DUI plea deal and probation began.

She is currently in Naples Jail and will have a court appearance on Tuesday at 2 p.m. WINK News is working to grab more information.
