SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, (WINK)— WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking a less windy Wednesday with low humidity still increasing our brush fire threat throughout the day.
The Weather Authority Zach Maloch said, "Less windy this Wednesday, but fire threat is on the higher side because of our low humidity."
Wednesday is starting quite a bit cooler with low humidity and temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
Plan on a dry day with a partly cloudy sky this Wednesday afternoon. While conditions will still be breezy at times, that east wind will be significantly lighter. Highs climb into the low to mid 80s.
Thursday will begin cool and refreshing once again with temperatures in the lower 60s.
We'll see another dry day with a partly cloudy sky for your afternoon plans. Temperatures will feel quite nice with highs once again in the lower to mid 80s.
Friday morning looks to start a little milder and more moisture begins to return to Southwest Florida.
This increase in moisture will lead to isolated showers and a few storms (30% coverage) Friday afternoon. Temperatures will be quite a bit hotter with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
