Lawnmower sparks 2-acre brush fire at North Port preserve

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WINK)—A lawnmower fire sparked a 2-acre brush fire at the Walton Ranch Preserve, according to North Port Fire Rescue.

Firefighters contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading further.

No civilians or firefighters were injured in the incident.

No structures were threatened by the fire, North Port Fire Rescue said.
