RSW to permanently close 2 businesses amid construction for terminal expansion project

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

On Sunday evening two businesses that live at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) will permanently close as part of their terminal expansion project.

According to the Lee County Port Authority, the Dunkin' and Beaches Travelmart near the entrance to Concourse B in the main terminal will be permanently closed. They add that a new restaurant and bar will be built in this pre-security location.

RSW's $331 million terminal expansion project will feature a 16-lane centralized checkpoint. The project is expected to be completed in November 2028.
