SpaceX launching powerful Falcon Heavy rocket from Florida's Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —

SpaceX is launching its Falcon Heavy rocket on Monday for the first time since 2024.

The rocket carrying the ViaSat-3 F3 mission is headed to geosynchronous transfer orbit from Kennedy Space Center.

The 85-minute launch window opens at 10:21 a.m.

Following stage separation, Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters will land on SpaceX’s Landing Zones 2 and 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
