Four-vehicle crash on Alico Road in San Carlos Park injures two

SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. —

Two people were injured after a four-vehicle crash led to one vehicle rolling over along Alico Road at Phlox Drive near San Carlos Park.

According to the San Carlos Park Fire Protection and Rescue Service District, crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.

SCFPD said two people were transported to the hospital, one with minor injuries and one with moderate injuries. Firefighters are working to mitigate hazards such as fluid leaking from the vehicles involved.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office noted that all eastbound lanes of Alico Road are shut down at Phlox Dr and all traffic is being routed through a parking lot.
