Bodycam footage shows New York officers thrown by house explosion, rescuing family inside

Bodycam footage shows New York officers being thrown by a house explosion while responding to a call about a drunk man with a knife threatening a woman.

Despite their injuries, the officers jumped into action to rescue the family inside the home.

All of the officers are expected to be OK, and several other people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Detectives said the man pushed two gas canisters into an air conditioning unit, which leaked into the apartment and caused the explosion.
