60-year-old woman airlifted after jet ski crashes into boat in Bonita Springs

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (WINK)—A 60-year-old woman was airlifted to a trauma center after a collision between a jet ski and a boat in Bonita Springs. 

On Saturday, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and Lee County EMS responded to a boating incident involving two vessels in Lee County.

According to the FWC, a 31-foot vessel with four people on board and a personal watercraft with two people were traveling south of Big Hickory Pass when the collision occurred. 

The driver and passenger of the personal watercraft were injured and transported to an area hospital.
