New warrant out for Punta Gorda man convicted of selling fentanyl in Cape Coral

A Punta Gorda man has a new warrant out for his arrest following a conviction for possessing and selling fentanyl, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers says that Donald Acquarelli, 38, was initially arrested after Cape Coral police saw him driving up to a gas station and handing a bag to his friend during an investigation into drug sales.

When officers stopped Acquarelli's car they found 14 baggies of fentanyl. He was behind bars for six months followed by 36 months of probation which he violated following a positive drug test.

Acquarelli is 5 feet 7 inches tall.
