May the Pour Be With You: Star Wars trivia takes over No. 3 craft beer bar

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — If you’ve been looking for an excuse to channel your inner Jedi, this Southwest Florida spot has you covered this May the Fourth.

At No. 3 Craft Beer Bar, Star Wars fans are invited to celebrate the unofficial holiday in full force with a themed trivia night that leans into the galaxy far, far away. The “May the 4th Be With You” event will feature four rounds of trivia, packed with questions designed to challenge even the most dedicated fans. From Grogu to Chewbacca, no corner of the franchise is off limits, so brushing up on your knowledge might not be a bad idea.

And it is not just about what you know. After the third round, the bar will host a costume contest, giving guests the chance to show off their best Jedi robes, Sith cloaks, or droid-inspired looks.

Owner John Sanders said the theme felt like a natural fit for the space.

“We have so much Star Wars stuff in the bar, so it made sense,” Sanders said.

That décor is part of what makes No. 3 stand out. The bar is filled with decades' worth of memorabilia, creating an atmosphere that feels a bit like stepping onto a movie set. Look around long enough and you will probably spot something new each time, from vintage signs to collectible pieces that nod to the iconic franchise.

The current location opened in September 2024, expanding from a previous space while keeping the spirit of the original bar intact.

“I wanted to preserve the environment the old bar had, but we just needed more space,” Sanders said. “We tried really hard to honor the old bar in a bigger space.”

Beyond the themed events and immersive vibe, the drink selection is a major draw. The bar features 20 rotating taps and more than 500 beers available, giving customers plenty of options to explore. For those not into beer, there is also wine, sake, mead, and seltzers on the menu.

For anyone feeling adventurous, the bar even offers a “beer quest,” challenging guests to try a wide variety of brews. Smaller 4-ounce pours make it easier to sample different styles without committing to a full glass.

And behind it all is a veteran-owned story. Sanders served 20 years in the United States Air Force before bringing his vision for a community-focused craft beer bar to life.
