Charlotte County issues boil water notice

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — The Charlotte County Utilities Department issued a precautionary boil water notice for customers in the Ackerman area following water line repairs on Tuesday.

The notice affects residents on multiple streets, including sections of Herman Circle, Briggs Circle, Henneman Circle, Cunningham Street, Herder Street, Britnall Street, Costello Street, Harrington Street, Burkholder Circle, Belfountain Street, Arapahoe Circle, Crawfordsville Drive, Van Nuys Circle, Kerville Circle and Gillen Street. The affected customers will remain under the notice until further notification.

The utilities department requests that all customers in the affected areas boil water intended for drinking or cooking. Bottled water can be used as an alternative.
