Comparing water bottles for durability, cost, and keeping drinks cold as summer heat arrives

With hotter and drier days ahead, many are wondering which water bottle is worth their money, as different brands vary in price and performance.

The Simple Modern Summit bottle with a straw lid was the most budget-friendly option, keeping ice cold for 24 hours and selling for $24.

The Yeti Rambler also kept ice cold and didn’t dent despite drops. The 18-ounce version is priced at $30.

Similarly priced is the 24-ounce Hydro Flask, which costs $40. Testers liked that it was much lighter than other options.

For kids, the CamelBak Eddy performed well, showing no leaks even when turned upside down. A cheaper version was the Contigo Trekker Kids bottle, which testers found easier to clean.
